Acute Care Triage launched as successor to Stroke Triage App
Successful launch of Acute Care Triage (ACT), the successor to the existing Stroke Triage App (STA). ACT has been developed to ensure continued support, maintenance and future expansion of digital triage solutions in acute care.
The Stroke Triage App has been successfully used in clinical practice for several years. To remain compliant, maintainable, and scalable, the application has now been migrated to a new, future‑proof platform. The current stroke triage functionality remains clinically unchanged.
Why Acute Care Triage?
ACT provides a robust foundation for ongoing professionalization of acute care triage, enabling:
- Structural maintenance and long-term support
- Improved technical robustness and usability
- Better compatibility with mobile devices
- A scalable platform for additional triage modalities
Future developments
ACT is designed as a broader acute care triage platform. Future updates will focus on:
- Further usability improvements
- Enhanced mobile support
- Expansion with additional triage modules, including Trauma triage, developed in collaboration with clinical partners at Erasmus MC and UMC Utrecht.
More information about these developments will be shared as they become available.
